Contact US learn MoreThe European Institute for Development Studies (IEED) is a think tank created by a group of researchers in Social Sciences, alumni PhD students at various prestigious Universities. IEED aims to actively participate in any debate on the economic, social and political development of contemporary European societies. Several IEED team members are experts in Central and Eastern European countries.
IEED designs and manages research projects on a large variety of topics, helps policymakers to improve social and economic decisionmaking process, disseminates ideas, conclusions and recommendations to a wide public. Additionally, we provide educational services in close collaboration with French and international educational institutions and cultural centres.
Research within the European Institute for Development Studies relies on an interdisciplinary approach, mixing Institutional Economics, Economic Sociology, Behavioural Economics, Ethnography, History, Philosophy and Ethics, Political Sciences. We use a variety of research methods and hybrid approaches, including primary (quantitative, qualitative) and secondary data as well as normative approaches.
