IEED Forge Academic and Policy Frontiers in Moldova

In August 2023, Doina Guzun, research officer at IEED, and Stela Suhan, associate researcher at IEED, successfully completed a month-long secondment at the Universitatea de Studii Politice Economice Europene “Constantin Stere” (USPEE), Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. This secondment marks a notable step in the WP3 GET-INCITING roadmap.

At USPEE, Doina and Stela were deeply involved in preparing for the upcoming fieldwork as part of the WP3, which aims to bring the collective voice of science into higher education policy-making. The secondment allowed both researchers to engage in discussions with scholars from USPEE and several higher education policymakers. These interactions are anticipated to enrich the upcoming piloted methodology to be developed by the WP3.
