HESPRI is a Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) - Staff Exchange Project, Horizon Europe. It focuses on developing innovative strategies to enhance public policies and boost the competitiveness of the Higher Education (HE) sector. HESPRI aims to propose alternative approaches to address key challenges in HE, like quality assessments, the ways to bring scientific voice in HE, and the adaptation to the digital shifts of our societies. HESPRI’s goal is to offer data-driven recommendations to governments, policymakers, and educational institutions.

IEED's role in HESPRI

IEED leads the Work Package 3 "Governing Education: Interdisciplinarity as a Roadmap for Lasting and Responsible Policy (GET-INCITING)"

WP3 objective: This WP has a twofold purpose: one theoretical, aiming to contribute to methodological questions relating to the HE policymaking process; another empirical, focusing on the effects of the new methodology on the HE policy in different national environments. Inspired by the need to build scientific consensus in the HE policy, both at local and international levels, a new piloted methodology would shape a new institutional arrangement where the scientific associations bring the collective voice of science into the policymaking process.
